Cagayan de Oro has an extensive provincial jeepney and bus network. The Agora-Integrated Bus Terminal built in 1984 has become inadequate and dilapidated. It is located within the Agora Market Complex in Lapasan district. Last 2004 and 2005, the West and East Bound Terminals were built to decongest the existing Agora Terminal. There are already plans to rehabilitate the Agora Market Complex including the bus terminal.

Bus Companies. Rural Transit Mindanao Inc. (RTMI) is the biggest bus company operating in Cagayan de Oro. It has a wide fleet of new buses and owns Rural Tours, Bachelor Tours and Bachelor Express.
